The New York Jets have selected tight end Trevon Wesco out of West Virginia University with the 121st overall pick in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL draft.

Trevon Wesco is a 23 year old, 6’ 4”, 267 pound tight end who is a load as a blocker and is surprisingly nimble in the passing game. West Virginia barely used Wesco as a receiver for most of his career before starting to get him involved in 2018. Wesco should be an improvement over Eric Tomlinson as a blocking tight end and has the potential to develop as a decent complement to Chris Herndon as a receiver.

Welcome to the Jets Trevon Wesco. The Green and White is happy to have you.

The Jets now have the following picks remaining in the 2019 NFL draft:

Fifth Round: #157

Sixth Round: #196
