The Jets Have Just Two Picks Remaining Today On Day Three Of The NFL Draft

The third and final day of the 2019 NFL draft is upon us. Today we have a marathon of more than 150 picks, taking us through rounds four through seven of the draft. The selections begin with the first pick of the fourth round, scheduled to go on the clock at 12:00 noon EDT. Teams have five minutes to make each selection today.

The New York Jets currently have just two picks scheduled for today, one in the fourth round and one in the sixth round. The Jets traded away their seventh round pick in the trade with the Minnesota Vikings to acquire USC offensive tackle Chuma Edoga. The Jets first pick today, assuming no trades, is pick #105 early in the fourth round. That pick should be made sometime around roughly 12:20 pm. After that it will be a long wait, until pick #196 in the sixth round, before the Jets pick again, assuming no trades. In the worst case scenario, if all day three picks take the maximum five minutes, we could be waiting until almost 8 p.m. before the Jets make their second pick today. However, the third day usually moves along rather briskly, and I expect pick 196 will go on the clock much sooner, perhaps around 5 p.m.

Whatever happens we’ll be bringing it all to you right here on Gang Green Nation, deep into the night if necessary, until the last pick in the seventh round is chosen and the 2019 NFL draft is history.
