Good morning, Jet fans! I hope everyone’s having a great start to their morning. Hoping you each had a great Easter Sunday, and if you don’t partake in those festivities I hope the weekend went spectacularly regardless. Shout out to Mr. Wells for holding down the fort over said weekend. I’d also like to give a moment in silence—so to speak—to acknowledge a former, brief Jet, Mr. Reggie Cobb who passed away over the weekend. Thoughts and prayers to his loved ones. In more positive Jet news, some blog writers for the Browns are calling for a trade between the two teams involving the latter to receive ILB Darron Lee, who has been in much speculation this off-season to be traded at some point. I think whatever it takes to get Lee gone, should be done. I don’t hate the man, but being suspended for PED use and still being soft against the run is counter productive to me. Also occurring over the weekend was the start of a ‘beef’ between two safeties, featuring our own Marcus Maye; and Tyrann Mathieu. This stemming from an off-season incident last year involving Mathieu and former Jets HC Todd Bowles, in which the latter told Tyrann that Marcus Maye was the better player—which caused Tyrann to sign elsewhere. Maye co-signed Bowles’ remarks, so don’t be shocked to hear the former Honeybadger retaliate back. With that, here are your links to the team to start off your Monday.
