New York Jets Flight Connections 3/7/19

Bringing your daily links to the NFL’s New York Jets

Good morning, Gang Green Gangsters! I hope everyone’s having a great start to their day. The Jets have already officially bowed out of the Antonio Brown race. This shouldn’t have been a surprise to most. As mentioned yesterday, the team just doesn’t have the draft capital this year to make any significant impact via trades, unless the plan is to trade down from the No. 3 overall pick. With that said, given how much negative publicity AB has set upon himself it seems like a smart move by the Jets regardless of his talent level. There will already be enough stress at Jets Drive this year, so it seemed like a good move to try and limit what will already be a media storm coming into the season. The Jets do need to find talent at the WR spot this year though whether it is in FA or in the draft. It’ll be hard to evaluate Sam if he’s stuck with the same group of mediocre receivers like Geno Smith and countless other Jet QB’s have had to deal with throughout the years. With that said, here are your links for the team this Thursday.
