Dan Jeremiah’s 2019 NFL Mock Draft has the Jets picking Quinnen Williams

NFL: Combine Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports

Dan Jeremiah of NFL Media has released a mock draft in the aftermath of the Scouting Combine. His projection to the Jets has been a familiar name in these mocks.

3. New York Jets - Quinnen Williams, DT, Alabama

Putting Quinnen Williams next to Leonard Williams will give the Jets one of the best interior D-lines in the NFL.

Notably, this mock has Kyler Murray going first overall to Arizona and Nick Bosa going second to the 49ers. Under this scenario, the Jets would pass on Josh Allen to take Williams. This isn’t necessarily implausible or the wrong move. I just haven’t seen many mocks at this point that have Allen on the board and the Jets passing.

Even after the Combine, there are parts of the process yet to play out, including pro days and team visits so things could change between today and Draft day.
