Good morning, GGN! The New York sports scene has temporarily shifted to baseball as the Mets and Yankees get the 2019 baseball season under way. Hopes are high that this might be a rare season when both local teams make the playoffs. In football we wait, and wait, and wait as mainly a whole lot of nothing is going on until the NFL draft in late April. The consensus is that if the Jets don’t trade down they will have their best shot at finally landing a top edge rusher in what seems like 40 years of wandering in the wilderness, but has actually been less than 20, since John Abraham terrorized quarterbacks for the Jets back in the day.
