Jets Podcast: Early Draft Thoughts

The NFL Draft is now less than a month away. With the big part of free agency all but done, most fans have turned their attention to the Draft. The Jets own the third overall pick and plenty of big holes to fill on their roster.

Over the next few weeks, one debate is bound to dominate the fanbase. Should the Jets keep the third pick and grab one of the top three players in this year’s class, or should they look to trade down so they can add additional picks? On today’s podcast I offer a few thoughts on this dilemma. There are valid arguments for both sides. The answer also isn’t necessarily easy to decipher since the outcome could vary on either side. I also offer some thoughts on the show about filling needs through the Draft.
