Jets mailbag: Nick Bosa or Josh Allen?

NCAA Football: Ohio State at Texas Christian Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY Sports

Happy Thursday to all!

The Jets have a new backup quarterback in Trevor Siemian. The former Broncos starter and Vikings backup agreed to terms yesterday on a very inexpensive one year deal. Reports suggest the Jets will only have to pay him $2 million. That is a big discount for a team that was paying a journeyman backup $10 million a year ago.

We will discuss this signing on today’s podcast. We also have a mailbag show in store today where we discuss how likely it is the Jets can find help at both center and cornerback with their pair of third round picks, whether Nick Bosa or Josh Allen would be a better pick at 3, a center to look at in the Draft, the lowest the Jets should go if they trade down, the ethics of trying to convince the Giants to make a trade, whether I will chip in for a “Fire Maccagnan” banner, Doritos, and tacos.

Thanks for listening.
