Jets podcast: What positions still need work?

The Jets made the opposite of a big splash yesterday, bringing back Brent Qvale and Eric Tomlinson. These guys will likely be competing for roster spots in training camp. In an ideal scenario, neither would make the final 53 man roster. It’s tough for me to see the logic in bringing either guy back. Qvale is amazingly now one of the longest tenured players on the team. On today’s podcast we will talk about some of the flaws I see in retaining these players.

We will also discuss positions where the Jets still have some work to do. Yesterday’s show was centered on the positions the Jets have done the best job upgrading during the offseason. Today we look at the places where the team has not upgraded enough. There is still time to address these positions through what remains of free agency and the Draft, but the team might have some problems if these spots are not addressed.
