Bringing your daily links to the NFL’s New York Jets

Good morning, Gang Green Nation! I hope everyone’s having a great start to their day. Day 2 of NFL Free Agency has come and gone, with the Jets making the same number of moves. First reported was the re-signing of NT Steve McLendon. I’m unsure of why he was retained over Pennel, but to each their own. McLendon seems to provide good morale to the team and that can be needed. The second move was the signing of CB Brian Poole to essentially replace Buster Skrine. I like this deal a lot, but I would like the Jets to continue to pursue another CB in FA or the draft. Outside of McLendon, the Jets have signed some pretty young players with great potential. Even Osemele is at a position that ages well, so there’s reason to believe if he succeeds age won’t be a factor for a while. Positive signs — so far. With that, here are your links to the team this Friday.
