New York Jets Flight Connections 3/1/19

Good morning, Gang Green Gangsters! I hope everyone’s having a great start to their day. The Jets have reportedly placed the second-round tender on WR Robby Anderson. I don’t think this move has really surprised anyone, and I think it’s the correct move for the time being. If anything, this also allows Robby to set himself up for a much larger payday if he’s able to put up productive numbers in a crucial upcoming season. In other news, one writer has confused GM Mike Maccagnan’s willingness to trade down as being smart rather than common sense or due diligence. I think anyone with half a brain realizes that with the situation the Jets are in, trading down is the best option of all. But if that realization somehow correlates with a GM being a genius, then so be it. I suppose we all have a little Einstein inside of us all. Mac also has suggested that the team will strongly look to update the OL. Let’s just hope by this he means looking somewhere outside of the later rounds in the draft.
