New York Jets Flight Connections 2/5/19

Good morning, Gang Green Gangsters! I hope everyone’s having a great start to their day. Now that the Super Bowl is behind us, it’s time for my favorite part of the season — the off-season. The Jets look to be big players in Free Agency this year, but there are a lot of variables in place here. The team has over 20 positions to fill on the 53, and with a new coach and a new DC it’s possible that even more players find themselves on the bubble of being on the roster. Although the lines get blurred on a DC’s scheme, having players that fit the original ‘base package’ is in fact a real thing. It’s questionable that there’s any player on the Jets that actually fit the description to be a stud in Williams’ defense. It could be a very real possibility that a plethora of undrafted players and cast-offs from other teams are forced into expanded roles on this Jet team. At face value, it’s not really a situation to be excited about knowing the cards in our hand. One can only hope that we manage a miracle when the river card is shown, and the Jets can finally get on top again. With that being said, here are your links for the team this Tuesday.
