Jets head coach Adam Gase and general manager Mike Maccagnan are scheduled to speak with the press today at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis. It will be the first public appearance for both since the Jets introduced Gase as their new head coach in January.
These events typically provide us with little of substance. It isn’t in the Jets’ interest for their senior management to tip its offseason plans. This usually leads to a lot of very general comments. If we are lucky, maybe we will get an interesting nugget or two that offers some broad insight into a big picture philosophy.
Gase and Maccagnan will speak separately. Gase is scheduled to go first around 2:15 Eastern Time. Maccagnan is slated to go after the head coach is finished fifteen minutes later.
