Good morning, Gang Green Nation! I hope everyone’s having a great start to their day. You know the news for the team is slow when the Jets start mentioning, of all people, Parry Nickerson’s 2018 Combine numbers. Nothing against Nickerson, as he is a lightning quick CB (and I’m actually higher on him than most). It just shows how much dead air there is during this time of the year. A couple of veteran wide receivers have been released in Michael Crabtree and Randall Cobb, and I’d like to see the Jets try to take a swing at these guys instead of holding onto someone like Jermaine Kearse. Hopefully, Maccagnan is smart with this money and instead of opting for some of the largest FA names, he’s able to get guys that can fill roles in the systems in place by Gase and Williams. Although it’s cliche to talk about emulating the Patriots, I think their approach to team-building is common sense, and I’m honestly surprised more teams don’t go this route. However, it’s easy to say when the team has had a great QB and coach for the greater part of this century. The Jets will be there again. With that said, here are your links for the team this Tuesday.
