The annual Scouting Combine is almost upon us. The top prospects for this year’s NFL Draft will participate in drills, interviews, and tests. The Combine has become a major part of the scouting process through the years.
Many think it is totally useless and overhyped. I used to be one of those people. Through the years I have changed my mind. I no longer believe the Combine is totally useless and overhyped. Now I think it is mostly useless and overhyped. On today’s podcast I will explain why.
I will tell you some of the mistakes I think people make when watching the Combine as well as the limited ways I believe it has usefulness to teams. Unfortunately for fans, many of the useful parts take place in private, while the overhyped parts are broadcast on national television.
Thank you for listening to the show. Your support is always greatly appreciated.
