The Jets won yesterday, which means it is time to put away the anti-game ball and award a game ball.
As always, we attempt to avoid giving the game ball to the quarterback and repeat recipients whenever possible.
This week I am giving my game ball to Robby Anderson. He posted 7 catches for 116 yards and a touchdown, feasting on Miami’s shaky secondary. While he is typically a burner who specializes in deep routes, Anderson made a number of contested catches in this game, displaying strong hands.
Overall it has been a disappointing contract year for Anderson. He was unable to build on a strong finish to 2018. At the very least, he is putting together a second consecutive strong December.
Yesterday I thought he was the best player on the field for the Jets so he gets my game ball nod.
Who gets your game ball for the win against Miami?
