The 2019 season is now complete for the New York Jets. The team beat the Buffalo Bills 13-6 yesterday in Orchard Park. With the win the Jets finished the season with a 7-9 record and a two game winning streak. The team’s second half record was 6-2 after a disastrous 1-7 first half.
On today’s podcast we discuss the game and the season. I think this is a difficult game to evaluate because it was in bad weather and had a preseason feel. The Bills were focused on the Playoffs and sat many of their starters. The Jets have been playing a bunch of backups all year because of injuries. I do think many of the themes from this game carry over to the larger story we will be telling about the Jets in the offseason, and these will be discussed on the show.
Thanks for listening today and throughout the season.
