The Jets find themselves holding the 9th overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft after their Thursday night loss to the Baltimore Ravens according to Tankathon.
The Jets are now a half game “ahead” of the 5-8 Chargers, Broncos, and Panthers. They are a half game “behind” the 4-9 Falcons and Jaguars.
The spot of the Jets’ eventually pick could vary wildly depending on how they and other teams perform over the final three weeks of the 2019 season. There are eleven teams that have between 4 and 6 wins. Those teams currently occupy spots between 7 and 17 in Draft order.
Games of note this weekend for Draft considerations include Jacksonville at Oakland, Atlanta at San Francisco, Minnesota at LA Chargers, Denver at Kansas City, Seattle at Carolina, Philadelphia at Washington, Indianapolis at New Orleans, Cleveland at Arizona, and Tampa Bay at Detroit.
As a reminder, for Draft positioning the tiebreaker is strength of schedule, not head to head record.
