New York Jets Flight Connections 12/11/19

Bringing your daily links to the NFL’s New York Jets

Good morning, GGN! I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. As I’m writing this, I have to say that this year has been particularly annoying to be a fan of the Jets. Like everyone else, I am used to the team losing, being bad, coming up short, etc. What I’m not used to is how many non-story articles are being produced regarding some of the players, and the forced narratives attached to each. Of course we’ve seen distractions before with Keyshawn and Rex (just to name a few); bad press is always going to be published when the team is doing bad. But when a player removing a team from his bio, bowling with the flu, or going out after a win become stories that gain traction to label players as malcontents, it adds to the insentient feeling of already being a Jets’ fan. Regardless of how you feel for players, coaches, or management, it seems like there’s a true agenda to separate the fanbase between them amidst a lost season. Perhaps this off-season will help dissipate that feeling, but I’m not holding my breath. With that, here are your links to the team today.
