Monday Night Football, Week 9. In tonight’s game the Dallas Cowboys slide north to take on the New York Giants in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
The Cowboys are coming off their bye week after trouncing the Eagles 37 - 10 and breaking a three game losing streak in Week 7. The Cowboys have won five straight against the Giants, holding them to under 16 points per game.
The Giants are in a tailspin, losers of four straight and coming off a 31 - 26 loss to the Lions last week. The Giants have gone 14 straight weeks in which they have at least one offensive turnover, the longest current such streak in the NFL. The Giants rank dead last in the NFL in offensive turnovers with 19. Giants rookie quarterback Daniel Jones is coming off a good game against the Lions after struggling badly most of the season. In the prior four weeks before the Lions game Jones averaged under 200 yards passing per game, with four touchdowns, seven interceptions and a passer rating of 65. It’s tough to win in the NFL with that kind of quarterback performance.
It’s the Cowboys and the Giants in a NFC East grudge match. Enjoy the game everybody.
