SNF: Patriots vs Ravens Game Thread

NFL: Baltimore Ravens at New England Patriots Stew Milne-USA TODAY Sports

Sunday Night Football, Week 9. Tonight the New England Patriots head south to take on the Baltimore Ravens in Babe Ruth’s home town.

This is a fascinating game between two first place teams. The 8-0 Patriots have looked all but invincible so far this year, but that perfect record has been at the expense of a litany of bad teams. The Patriots have not really been tested much thus far.

That ends tonight when the Patriots hit the road to face the Ravens. The Patriots have the league’s best pass defense, but at times they have been vulnerable against the run. The Ravens have the league’s best run offense, but are not a great passing team. Lamar Jackson gives the Ravens a unique talent at quarterback that can give any defense fits, and the return of Marquise Brown to the Ravens’ lineup gives them speed to burn. The Ravens have been something of a thorn in New England’s side for years, and at home, this may be one of the best chances for a team to upset the Patriots this year.

It’s the Patriots and the Ravens in a fascinating clash of two first place football teams on Sunday Night Football.

Enjoy the game everybody.
