The first half of the New York Jets game against the Miami Dolphins Jaguars is in the books, and the Jets trail the Dolphins 21 - 12.
The Jets started the game with a terrific long drive, chewing up clock before putting the ball in the end zone with a strike from Sam Darnold to Jamison Crowder to give the Jets a 7 - 0 lead.
From there it was all Dolphins. Three long Dolphins drives ended in touchdowns against an ineffective Jets defense to give the Dolphins a 21 - 7 lead late in the first half. A 78 yard kickoff return set the Jets up for a score late, but Sam Darnold threw a terrible interception under pressure, giving the Dolphins the ball back at the 1 yard line. The Dolphins then fumbled the snap, leading to a safety and a 21 - 9 Dolphins lead. The Jets then marched quickly into field goal range to close the half with a long Ficken field goal.
We go into the second half with the Jets trailing the Dolphins by nine points, 21 - 12.
Enjoy the second half everybody.
