Jets vs Redskins Second Half Thread

The first half of the New York Jets game against the Washington Redskins is in the books, and the Jets lead the Redskins 20 - 3.

The Jets started the game hot, as they often have lately. Sam Darnold led the Jets on an opening possession touchdown drive for the fourth straight week, culminating in a Sam Darnold to Daniel Brown touchdown pass. The Jets defense dominated the Redskins offense early, and the Jets soon got the ball back. Bilal Powell’s strong running spearheaded another long touchdown drive for the Jets, Robby Anderson catching the touchdown pass from Sam Darnold.

From there the Jets defense continued to shut down the Redskins offense, but a Sam Darnold interception led to a Redskins field goal to make the score 13 - 3, Jets. A late Jets possession with less than two minutes to go in the half resulted in a quick and efficient drive and a third Sam Darnold touchdown pass, this one to Ryan Griffin.

We go into the second half with the Jets dominating the Redskins by 17 points, 20 - 3.

Enjoy the second half everybody.
