Jets victory over Giants has fans feeling a little better but not much

It is time for our weekly look at FanPulse. Every week SB Nation asks fans their opinions about their favorite team and league-wide issues.

When last we left the Jets, the team had a 0% fan confidence rating. That number has improved a bit. After the win over the Giants, 11% of Jets fans who responded to our survey expressed confidence in the team’s direction.

It speaks to the state of the team that the number remains that low. This fanbase would be overjoyed after most wins against the Giants. In this instance, the Jets simply beat one of the worst teams in the NFL. I can’t say I blame those who remain skeptical.

For those who are wondering, this survey was conducted before owner Christopher Johnson announced that head coach Adam Gase will return for the 2020 season. So that announcement had no bearing on the final fan confidence poll.
