Jets vs Giants Second Half Thread

NFL: New York Giants at New York Jets Robert Deutsch-USA TODAY Sports

The first half of the New York Jets game against the New York Giants is in the books, and the Jets lead the Giants 14 - 13.

The Jets started the game with a touchdown drive for the third game in a row. 13 plays, 75 yards, with Sam Darnold taking it in himself; a fine way to start a game. The Jets followed that with a three and out on defense, culminating in a Jamal Adams sack. That led to a Giants punt and excellent Jets field position. The Jets then drove 50 yards, ending with a 23 yard Darnold to Jamison Crowder touchdown pass in an opening quarter that was all Jets.

From there the Giants responded with a 75 yard drive of their own, culminating in a Daniel Jones to Darius Slayton touchdown pass to open the second quarter and cut the Jets lead to 14 - 7. The Giants shut down the Jets offense and then tacked on another touchdown but missed the extra point to pull to within one point, as they dominated the second quarter action.

We go into the second half with the Jets leading the Giants by one point, 14 - 13.

Enjoy the second half everybody.
