Podcast: Sam Darnold cleared and crossover with Locked on Cowboys

Finally some good news came to the Jets on Tuesday. The first five weeks could not have gone much worse for the team. There have been four losses in four games and numerous key players lost, most notably the quarterback.

The quarterback is returning to the lineup this Sunday. Sam Darnold has been cleared to start the Week 6 game against the Cowboys. On today’s podcast I discuss the good news along with expectations. We can expect improved play out of the quarterback position. However, I do not believe it would be fair to expect too much out of Sam. There are numerous issues on this team that are not related to the quarterback. I think we have to be fair to the 22 year old signal caller when discussing what he is capable of fixing.
