Jets podcast: Blown out in Philadelphia

NFL: New York Jets at Philadelphia Eagles Eric Hartline-USA TODAY Sports

The Jets had another rough Sunday. The team fell to 0-4 in a 31-6 loss to the Philadelphia Eagles.

Two weeks ago the team suffered a similar loss in New England. The consensus seemed to be that the Jets were lucky to have an early bye. As it turns out, it didn’t matter. Nothing changed. The offense looked just as bad as it did two weeks ago, and the team was just as uncompetitive in this game.

The offensive numbers for this team have reached staggering lows. Replacement quarterback or not, things look very ugly right now.

On today’s podcast I do my best to sort it all out. I talk about the big problems on the team. I express my befuddlement at the coaching, and I offer some thoughts about why that coaching might have job security issues if things don’t get better soon.

Thanks as always for listening to the show.
