The Jets made no further trades before yesterday’s NFL trading deadline. The team’s only activity was sending Leonard Williams to the Giants on Monday.
It would be inaccurate, however, to say deadline day was quiet. The rumors were flying about the Jets potentially trading Robby Anderson, Le’Veon Bell, and Jamal Adams. As the afternoon progressed, Adams to the Cowboys rumors picked up steam. Ultimately it sounds like the two teams were never in the same ballpark. The Jets seemed to have little intention of trading Adams unless they got a ridiculous offer. Adams still expressed unhappiness with the rumors on Twitter.
On today’s podcast I discuss deadline day. Did the Jets handle things correctly? Is Adams in the right or the wrong to be this upset?
Addtionally, Travis Wingfield the host of Locked on Dolphins joins the show to discuss this weekend’s unexciting matchup between the Jets and the winless Miami Dolphins.
