Jets podcast: Another blowout

NFL: New England Patriots at New York Jets Brad Penner-USA TODAY Sports

2019 has largely been an ugly season for the Jets. Week 6 was a pleasant change as the Jets defeated the Dallas Cowboys. The joy from that victory proved to be short-lived. Last night Jets were blown out 33-0 by the Patriots. It was a game that felt over in the first half.

On today’s podcast I offer some thoughts on the game. This was the type of contest that got away from the Jets quickly. A few big plays in the early stages set New England on the path to a blowout.

There were also numerous poor individual performances for the Jets. The most notable was Sam Darnold, who turned the ball over 5 times in what was likely his worst game as a pro. I’m not sure panic about Darnold is justified, but this was ugly stuff.

Tune in to hear the rest of my thoughts on a brutal night at the Meadowlands.
