Sunday Night Football, Week 7. Tonight the Philadelphia Eagles hit the road to take on the Dallas Cowboys in Dallas, Texas.

The 3-3 Cowboys come into this game in crisis, losers of three straight, their hold on first place in the NFC East in jeopardy. The last time these two teams met, Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott threw for 455 yards in Week 14 of 2018 in a Cowboys victory. That was then, this is now. Now Prescott and Cowboys are struggling, desperate to break a three game slide.

The 3-3 Eagles come into this game off a brutal 38-20 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. The Eagles are tied with the Cowboys atop a mediocre NFC East division, so this game is for first place and an early lead in the race for a division title. The Eagles pass defense has been a cure for anything that ails opposing quarterbacks, giving up more than 300 yards passing in four out of six games and currently ranking 29th in the NFL in passing yards allowed.

Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz and Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott will face each other for the sixth time in their careers. Dallas has a 3-2 edge in those matchups.

It’s the Cowboys and the Eagles playing for first place in the NFC East on Sunday Night Football.

Enjoy the game everybody.
