The Jets got their first win of the season on Sunday. It was an overdue positive event. The team still has a rough 1-4 record, but there is now at least something to feel good about in 2019.
On today’s podcast I offer a few scattered thoughts on the present and future state of the Jets. I have some things to say, and you are going to hear them (unless you don’t listen to the podcast; then you aren’t going to hear them). The topics include where Adam Gase deserves credit for Sunday’s win, the team finally finding itself a kicker, how Gregg Williams is working around a lack of quality cornerbacks, how good and important the team’s young safety duo is, and what constitutes reasonable expectations for Sam Darnold for the rest of the 2019 season.
Thanks as always for tuning in to the show. Your support is greatly appreciated.
