This morning we have the renewal of the annual NFL tradition of early morning (in the U.S.) football games in London, England. Today the Carolina Panthers face the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in an NFC South matchup.
This will be a rematch of a Week 2 game that the Buccaneers won, 20-14. The Buccaneers committed zero turnovers in that win and have only turned the ball over two times since. Only the Tennessee Titans (one) have fewer turnovers than Tampa Bay over that time.
After losing their first two games of the season, the Panthers have righted the ship, winning three straight games under backup quarterback Kyle Allen, who replaced an injured Cam Newton in the lineup.
The Buccaneers dropped to 2-3 on the season with a 31-24 loss to the New Orleans Saints last week. The Buccaneers have faced the second toughest schedule in football this season. Only the Jets opponents have a better winning percentage.
It’s the Panthers and the Chiefs with your morning coffee live from London.
Enjoy the game everybody.
