Fan confidence plummets further after Jets loss to Eagles

NFL: New York Jets at Philadelphia Eagles Bill Streicher-USA TODAY Sports

In our weekly FanPulse surveys, fan confidence has been under 20% since the Jets’ Week 1 loss to the Buffalo Bills. We have seen modest declines each week.

The trend continues for Week 6. Only 5% of fans surveyed expressed that they are happy with the team’s direction right now.

Last week the Jets had a confidence score of 12%. The loss to the Eagles cut that figure in more than half.

At this point, I would love to speak to the 5% with confidence to find out what makes them so confident.

From the, “It could always be worse,” file, the Jets still do not have the lowest rating in the NFL. They have steadily been in third place behind Atlanta and Washington. That remains the case for Week 6. Both the Falcons and the Redskins only have a 2% fan confidence rating heading into this weekend’s slate of games.
