TNF: Patriots vs Giants Game Thread

Thursday Night Football, Week 6. Tonight the New York Giants travel north to face the defending Super Bowl champion New England Patriots.

The Patriots come into the game undefeated at 5-0. They have the highest point differential through five games in the last 20 years. In short, the Patriots are fielding another in a long line of juggernaut teams. They are early favorites for yet another Super Bowl.

The Giants come into this game fresh off a tough loss last Sunday. The Giants feature rookie quarterback Daniel Jones. Unfortunately for the Giants, Jones will be without most of his offensive weapons tonight. Star running back Saquon Barkley is out, as is his backup, Wayne Gallman. Star tight end Evan Engram and starting wide receiver Sterling Shepard are also out. These are not ideal circumstances in which to field a rookie quarterback against a Bill Belichick defense.

It will take a massive upset for the Giants to go into New England and score a victory tonight. More likely we are looking at another blowout win for the Patriots.

It’s the Giants and the Patriots on Thursday night Football. Enjoy the game everybody.
