Making an AP All Pro team is arguably the most prestigous honor in the sport. It is a greater honor than the Pro Bowl since they are choosing the very best at each position instead of building a roster.
These honors are well-deserved. Roberts was second in the league among qualifiers with a 29.4 yard average on kickoff returns. He also returned one kickoff for a touchdown. Roberts also tied for the league lead in punt return average, but Tarik Cohen was named First Team All Pro punt returner.
Adams had a stellar second season, totaling 115 tackles, 3.5 sacks, 3 forced fumbles and an interception. His teammates voted him as Jets MVP last week as he took his place among the game’s elite safeties.
