This week’s slate of podcasts gets off to a late start. The discussion is all about what happened in the two Conference Championship Games that took place on Sunday. The Super Bowl matchup is set. The Rams and the Patriots will meet as both won exciting games on Sunday to earn a ticket.
In the NFC Championship Game, the Rams defeated the Saints in the Superdome. It was an instant classic, but the game will likely be remembered for all the wrong reasons. A very suspect no call on a blatant pass interference penalty dramatically altered the outcome. On the show I will discuss what I thought were some of the other key factors.
In the AFC Championship Game, the Patriots beat the Chiefs in overtime in an instant classic. New England executed its game plan very effectively to keep the game close and then got a break with the overtime coin toss.
Thanks for listening.
