Week 4 of the 2018 NFL season continues with a handful of somewhat uninspiring late afternoon games.
If you’re in the New York metropolitan area the 1-2 New York Giants take on the 2-1 New Orleans Saints in a game that could feature some offensive fireworks, with plenty of star power at the skill positions on both sides. Elsewhere the 1-2 San Francisco 49ers, sans star quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo, meet the 1-2 perennially under-performing Los Angeles Chargers in a left coast battle, the 1-1-1 Cleveland Browns try to string together two wins for the first time since Moses parted the Red Sea against the winless Oakland Raiders (isn’t it weird to have a Browns game where the opponent is the only winless team?), and the declining 1-2 Seattle Seahawks take on the 0-3 Arizona Cardinals in the first start of the Josh Rosen era in Arizona. For those keeping track at home that’s a grand total of one .500+ team in the four late games today. Ugh.
Enjoy the games everybody. Use this thread to call ‘em as you see ‘em.
