Tonight the Jets and the Lions begin their respective 2018 seasons. The game will be broadcast nationally on ESPN. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:10 p.m. Eastern. Please note the earlier than usual start time for Monday Night Football. This is to accommodate ESPN’s doubleheader. The network is traditionally given a second Monday game for Week 1 of the NFL season. The Rams and Raiders face off in the nightcap, which will follow Jets-Lions.

Beth Mowins, Brian Griese, and Laura Rutledge will call the game for ESPN. As you probably will note, this is not the top Monday Night Football crew. The new top team at ESPN for MNF, Joe Tessitore, Jason Witten, Lisa Salters, and Booger McFarland is instead assigned to the Rams-Raiders game.

You can also stream tonight’s game using the WatchESPN app on a computer, Xbox with an Xbox Live GOLD membership, Apple TV, Roku, iPad, or Android tablet.
