As always, I would discourage you from reading too much into the results of one practice. With practice, we don’t even get the benefit of replay to see whether our analysis missed something on a given play. This is not exactly an ideal way to judge players.
With all that in mind, my initial impressions of Darnold were largely positive. I thought he did a number of impressive things both presnap and postsnap during Monday’s practice, and that is what we discuss on today’s show.
