Jets 2018 Roster Countdown: Number 20 Isaiah Crowell

Isaiah Crowell is next in line for our Jets roster countdown.

Year with Jets: 1st

Projected Role: Running back 1A or 2

His 2017: Crowell posted over 1,000 yards from scrimmage, recording 853 rushing yards on 206 attempts and 182 receiving yards on 28 receptions. The Jets brought him in as a free agent in the spring.

2018 will be a success if: Crowell provides a number complement to Bilal Powell. I think Powell will probably be the top back, but Crowell will see plenty of action. He will either serve as 1A to Powell’s 1 or a number 2 back with a heavy workload. The Jets will also probably utilize him plenty as a receiver and expect him to produce in that capacity as well.

Odds of making the roster: Crowell will be on the team after the Jets gave him a nice free agent deal. He is a Lock (>99%).
