Only three practices remain in Jets training camp for the year 2018. One of them is today at the team facility in Florham Park, New Jersey. After a week on the road, it seems like the team has settled back into its routine during these final camp days.
One notable development over the last few days has been Sam Darnold taking over the bulk of the first team reps. It has felt to me like the Jets were trending in the direction of giving Darnold the starting job, and this seems to be picking up steam. I still believe that Darnold could play his way out of the starting job with a poor performance against the Giants this week, but at this point he seems like the favorite to be the Week 1 starter.
