The second preseason game is in the rear view mirror, which means training camp is starting to wind down for the Jets. The team returns to the practice field in Florham Park this afternoon after spending last week in the Washington, DC, area for joint practices with and a game against the Redskins. The Jets will break camp on Wednesday prior to their preseason game against the Giants.
The quarterback battle remains front and center. Now that we are firmly into the preseason, individual practices probably have less of an impact on this competition, but we still will monitor developments. It also will be worth watching the team’s growing injury list. The Jets have been really banged up in training camp. Which players will return to practice today?
