Projected Role: Backup inside linebacker

His 2017: Pierre-Louis was traded from Seattle to Kansas City during the offseason. He posted a career high 41 tackles while getting regular playing time as a reserve with the Chiefs linebacking corps. He was also a fixture on Kansas City’s special teams units.

2018 will be a success if: Pierre-Louis gives the Jets quality play if Darron Lee or Avery Williamson ever needs out of the lineup. It also is possible we will see him as a situational player on passing downs if the Jets want to pull Williamson off the field.

Odds of making the roster: Pierre-Louis will miss the first game of the year with a suspension, but the Jets are investing pretty good money for a backup player. They seem to like Pierre-Louis so he is a Lock (>99%).
