His 2017: Gwacham spent training camp with the Saints but failed to make the roster at the end of the preseason, ending his two year stint in New Orleans. He caught on briefly with the Cardinals practice squad before the Jets signed him to their active roster. He dressed for 5 games and recorded 2 tackles.

2018 will be a success if: Gwacham develops into at least a functional situational edge guy. The fact he is in the NFL after converting from wide receiver to the edge late in his college career is pretty remarkable, but he needs to make a move now. He is 27 years old and out of practice squad eligibility.

Odds of making the roster: The fact the Jets carried him on the roster might give him a fighting chance despite his limited NFL production to date. I say 50/50.
