The Jets and the Redskins will conduct their third and final joint practice of training camp today in Richmond, Virginia. The teams will then compete Thursday in the second preseason game of 2018.
After a heated Sunday practice that saw one major fight and a couple of other minor scuffles, things were reportedly more orderly on Monday. Neither head coach seemed particularly thrilled about Sunday’s events so they presumably had a word with their respective teams. Monday was reportedly a rough day for the Jets defense, but Sam Darnold continued showing good things. Darnold has been taking a lot of first team reps, and it appears he will get a chance to start on Thursday.
