The Sam Darnold holdout saga came to a merciful conclusion yesterday. The rookie quarterback reached a deal with the Jets and signed his contract in time to hit the practice field. Now everybody can get back to being excited for this new era of Jets football.
As we turn our attention away from the negotiating table and onto the practice field, the Jets will have a decision to make on their starting quarterback. The team will need to pick Josh McCown, Teddy Bridgewater, or Darnold. It also will need to set the terms of the competition.
