.................................
At long last, after what seems like an eternity, it looks like Sam Darnold is going to play some football in a red Jets practice uniform today.

Darnold will sign a four-year, $30.25 million deal, including $20 million guaranteed.
Fans have grown increasingly irritated over the past few days waiting for their franchise quarterback to sign. There were numerous reports about the reasoning behind the dispute, which I’m sure will come up to Sam during interviews in the coming days, but all that matters is that this saga is over. Darnold will begin his pursuit of the Week 1 starting job, looking to impress against a hot Josh McCown and a struggling Teddy Bridgewater.
It’s over!
