Rontez Miles was the only Jet to begin training camp on the physically unable to perform list.
Miles is dealing with a knee injury that was first reported in June. Reports at the time indicated the reserve safety and special teamer would require surgery to fix it.
In theory, Miles can come off the PUP list at any time in training camp once he is ready to play. The timeframe given for recovery from his injury suggested, however, that he is likely to miss all of camp and the start of the regular season.
The Jets got some better news about some of their other players recovering from injuries. They were all able to practice in some capacity.

Some of these guys were limited in Friday’s first practice of training camp even though they avoided the PUP list.

WR Quincy Enunwa has been participating in team drills wearing a red no-contact jersey. He has been active - a good sign as he continues to come back from neck surgery. #Jets— Dennis Waszak Jr. (@DWAZ73) July 27, 2018
Even if these guys are limited at this point, the fact they are on the field at all is a good sign.
