Today I bring you a podcast mailbag. The departure of a beloved staff member yesterday pushed our weekly mailbag out of its customary Thursday timeslot, but we will have one for the week. Thanks as always for the questions.
Today we look at the importance of various stats for skill players, defensive backs, and defenders, how good the 2019 NFL free agent class will be compared to 2018, whether the Rams will be as good as people are expecting, why teams with quality quarterbacks can still string together a series of poor seasons, whether it would be better for the Jets for Sam Darnold or Teddy Bridgewater to have an excellent preseason, potential surprise training camp cuts, and the future of the wide receiver position, a grouping with a number of key players about to hit free agency in the next year.
Thanks as always for listening and for supporting the podcast.
