Which players are trying out for the Jets this weekend at rookie minicamp?

NCAA Football: Belk Bowl-Wake Forest vs Texas A&M Jeremy Brevard-USA TODAY Sports

This weekend’s rookie minicamp for the Jets includes Draft picks and undrafted free agents.

It includes another group of players. They are around for the weekend on a tryout basis. These players did not impress any teams enough to either be selected in the NFL Draft or earn a contract. They are trying to show the coaching staff enough to eventually earn that contract. There are also some non-rookies just trying to get another shot in the NFL.

There are 44 tryout players at rookie minicamp for the Jets this year. Given the number of players and the short length of the minicamp, these players all face an uphill battle to impress the coaching staff enough to make the team. Sometimes one or two of these players does earn a contract, though.

Here are the tryout players for the Jets as provided by the team’s official website.
